SEX TALK is an ongoing, immersive, feminist, sex-positive, sometimes cabaret, sometimes social experiment featuring parodies of some of Broadway's most beloved standards. In this cabaret/stand-up/consensually interactive hour Brooke teaches us about finding your kink, laughing through premature ejaculation, equal opportunity pleasure and so much more through her melodic musings. There is much to learn - and very little left to the imagination…
SEX TALK will curl your toes with parodies of Broadway's most beloved standards with a sexy and educational twist! Classic ballads are reverse cow-girled into new favorites like Suddenly Semen, On My Own (Engaged in Masturbation) & Don’t Rain On My Fuckade. Brooke turns musical theatre tropes into sing-song gropes and will touch you in places you thought only your partner should.

Katherine Perry they|she
Katherine is an actor, improviser, educator, and creative engine. Their work centers around the declaration: Every. Body. Is. Creative. In the classroom katherine has most recently conducted residencies with 1812 Productions, Philly Young Playwrights, and The Unscripted Project. Katherine also supports the Education and Recreational Therapy Departments at The HMS School for Cerebral Palsy. In 2010 katherine graduated from Lehigh University with a BA in Theatre, Psychology, and a minor in Business. Stage credits include Mazeppa (Gypsy, Arden Theatre u/s), Mother Courage, Agatha Trunchbull (Matilda), a good chunk of Shakespeare's canon, and several world premieres including Close Your Legs, Honey. This summer katherine began certification as a Consent Forward Artist with IDC. Cheers to fronts and butts y'all!

Shamus Hunter McCarty - director/designer
In 2015 the concept of SEX TALK and character of Brooke Spitz was developed for the Philadelphia SoLow Festival with the help of Jennifer MacMillan. The following year Katherine asked long time friend and collaborator, Shamus Hunter McCarty to join her and help Brooke Spitz spread herself to the world.
Outside of SEX TALK, Shamus and Katherine are the founders of BINJ Philly which provides opportunities for Philadelpia actors, directors, and artists to create organic connections through actual collaboration.
